Help screen lock password restting

Hi all,

i have dug around, for resetting a forgotten screen lock password. and most of the answers seem to be, hard reset; tho a few hint at using your good account to be able to reset.

I do not see a "forgot password" on the lock screen? how do i setup so i can use my gmail to reset the screen lock password?

Never heard of using Google, but you can use your Samsung account...go to www.samsungdive.com and log in there...you can unlock your phone (which removes the lock code permanently, so you need to set it back up completely)...I have tried it and it worked a treat...
