Root [Sprint/Cricket] Stock rooted flash question

Going through the list of ROMs on here I noticed there are "stock rooted" options. However, I saw one that said you can't just flash the particular ROM over just any ROM and that it's meant for flashing over your regular stock ROM. Is there any danger in flashing a stock ROM over CM or something?

No danger, you just have to do a full wipe.

What that post is trying to say is that you can't do what's known as a "dirty flash" where all you wipe are the caches

theres a couple zip files you can run to wipe all too. caulkin has one and vipermod does too

To do a "full wipe" all you really need to do is a factory reset. That'll take care of the caches and data

The ROM zip will wipe system by itself.

Using those wipe all zips won't hurt, but its not really needed
