Root [Virgin Mobile] MidnightRom:GS3 JB 1.0.4 9/1/2013 Supercharged stock

Odd. Try flashing the latest, and clearing cache and dalvik.

Just uploaded 1.0.4 guys. Fixed the missing settings issue, sorry!

Everything seems to be working well on my end. My mic seems to be working as it should as well, I'll try making a call every boot up just to make sure. Also here is the appropriate bootanimation.zip, the one you have now makes the google logo and animation look squished. I've also included the SunBeam.apk to add a little more of the google play edition feel.
Thanks for the good work bro :)

Edit: Actually, the notification bar seems a bit glitchy... Sometimes it's fully transparent, and other times it varies in opacity. Anything I can do to fix it?

Was it a fresh install?

Also, are the settings working working for everyone else now? And is anyone else experiencing voice issues as described above?

No, was not a fresh install. My fresh install was with 1.0.0 and I've upgraded to 1.0.2, 1.0.3, and 1.0.4 from there. I've noticed the issue while running 1.0.2, 1.0.3, and 1.0.4. I don't recall having an issue during 1.0.0.

You may be on to something if its occurring after upgrade vs a fresh install. There's not much point of investigating it until someone else confirms that they're having the same issue. If I get annoyed enough with the issue I may try doing a fresh install.

running strong on a fresh flash of 1.0.4
Great Work dak! Thanks for your tireless efforts!
Everything looks good on the latest version.

"Android System" is destroying my battery. i know it's usually app related but I did a fresh install with no apps and it's still a problem, but it never was before in this rom. what's goin on?

Screenshot?
The percentages in the battery part of settings are relative. Maybe that's what you mean. It confuses some people.

So say like, you're at 99%. It could show the screen has used... Idk... 80%. Doesn't mean that the screen actually used 80% of the whole battery, just means it used 80% of that 1%

If we flash the new version over the older version will everything stay intact like our home configuration, apps, etc?

first screenshot is my battery a few hrs after full wiping to 1.0.4 (android os, media server, and android system have never drained power like that before). second is the wakelock detector app showing a bunch of stuff in android system that I have no idea what it is or how to fix. none of that was there a few days ago so it's all really confusing.

I'm having problem with Maps in this update - it crash on starting. For some reason Titanium backup shows that its size is 35m. I restored an older one (only 18m) and it's working now.

Plus does anyone has issue where the phone turns airplane mode on randomly?

Well, 4 hours is actually pretty decent. Like I said above, the numbers are all relative. So, your battery has used 52% of it's 100%.

Out of that 52%, 50 of it was the screen, 28 was system, 5 media server, 5 android os, 3 playstore, 3 messaging, 3 keyboard, and the other 3 was something else not shown in your screenshot. All of those added up are 100%. So android system isn't actually using up 28% of your battery as a whole, just 28% of that 52%.

Oh, and activitymanager-launch basically handles processes :P

No idea @_@ Never heard of that

Anybody else getting call echo on the last version?
Well, there is now kind of a lagless sound thing that I got going on with the mic while in a call. It's kind of useful so you can judge how loud you are to the other person

every time i tried to make a call i could hear my voice echo like i had really heavy reverb or delay FX on my voice.... It was only on my voice and only i could hear it... but i had to switch back to stock-ish cause it made my business calls quite annoying... I'll try and get you a LOGCAT when i get a chance to switch back to 1.0.4....

I see mms video was fixed, but didn't notice if HDR photo mode now works, can anyone confirm? Thanks.

It said something about there being a server error and I had to restart the camera, so I guess that means it's not working.
