Root What does this new ota include?

Is this update worth doing? The debuggerd file always breaks on me and the Google play store also sometimes.

I think it is mostly a security update with some updates to multi-touch and maybe a gps fix for the new models. I get the debuggerd error every update, so I now make a backup of it after every update so I can restore it. I think Stickmount does something to debuggerd that causes it to fail the validation check. I wasn't having any problems before the update, so I didn't notice any real change.

Can you get me a copy of the 4.3 debuggerd. Mine is already corrupted.
Or can you contact scary Alien? Maybe I can do the update over the weekend. So far I hear it is rerootable.

This is the debuggerd I used to allow the latest small security ota. I also had to use the modified ota called Grouper.zip that comments out a validation check that caused a 'Error executing updater binary in zip ...'. I have that if you need it.

Got the stupid dead android then it looked like it updated after rebooting. But I guess not because today the ota prompt came back

If you downloaded the file it should just be 'debuggerd' with no extension. It needs to be copied into the /system/bin folder to replace the file there. You need root access and a root file manager such as Root Explorer or ES File Explorer to copy it there.
