I think you do have to be careful what you mix. Like mixing strong liquor with energy and caffeine drinks. Vodka and Red Bull was always a bad one for screwing people up.

Actually it turned out to be one of my better lectures, students very interested....i.e. no heads down on desks...sleeping...which is what sometimes happens during my classes. LOL. I made up a presentation showing the 8 Ivy League unis, with a brief description of each, with some history and what they do, and plenty of pictures. Plus a few videos as well. Including trying to get the students to sing ....

...which brought a question from quite a few of them...."What's an Alma Mater?"
...and I still think the "K" version of Android should be Knickerbocker...and not Kit Kat, Kitekat or Key Lime Pie or whatever.BTW I often use a Firefox plug-in called Flash Video Downloader, which enables me to download any videos from YouTube, Tudou, Youku, etc, for off-line viewing in the classrooms.

Teachers that make learning interesting are the good teachers...

I'm teaching a foreign language to a class of one. It's a tutorial.
So you're doing one-to-one tutoring Wynd? I sometimes do that in the evenings for those who request it. But I much prefer being in a large classroom, with 60-70 students.

Good teacher..haha..I don't consider myself to be a particularly brilliant teacher TBH. But I do have the advantage of being the only English teacher who's actually English.
...the rest are all Chinese and Mongolian. The middle school has kept me on for 3 years now, and I do intend to stay here for the foreseeable future. Something I've noticed though in China, most English teachers are women, while maths teachers are mainly men. Very few female maths teachers. I've never really understood why. Other subjects like Science, Physics, Chinese, History, etc, the seems to be a mix.
Are you teaching English Wynd, like ESL?

I would love a pixel! But I don't know of any new versions coming out anytime soon. There's HP and the series 5 chromebook from Sammy. I'd recommend one of those.

My siblings suggest a macbook air. It's definitely more practical especially since google play services are not available ib my country
I don't know.
The chrome book does not use android or many Google play services. Unless you want to subscribe to music or pay for books and movies. Other than that, its just a chrome browser. A macbook air, is a waste of money if all you intend to do on it is web browsing. Those computers can't handle much you know.

Yeah but they are the same price as a pixel though at least you get free storage with the pixel
