T-mobile will never be out of merger rumors huh?

I don't think a T-Mobile/Sprint merger would go through, but if it did they would probably honor their current contract with MetroPCS.

After the contract expires... who knows.
 
Agreed. AT&T tried to merge/buy T-Mobile, the department of justice vetoed the deal because it shrunk competition. I would imagine an official merger of the two would suffer a similar fate. However an unofficial partnership similar to what Verizon and AT&T have been doing for years could possibly happen.

What contract? TMUS owns MetroPCS now
 
Im not sure why ATT even bothered with T-Mobile. They clearly would make a monopoly corporation, it was there from the start and everyone knew deal would not go through. As I said not sure why tgey bothered. If you know what to look at market shares you can already tell of merge might even possible.
