I have a Galaxy 3 Android and im part of the fire department. my command center sends me a text of the address and what the call is when we get one and I want to be able to automatically forward the message I get from the command center to all the other fire fighters in my department. If anybody can help me out as to how I can do that I would greatly appreciate it. to sum it up in an easier way this is what I want.

When I receive a text from my command center. I want it automatically forwarded to about 20 different numbers.

Thank you!

Hello and welcome to the forums. I see your having trouble with text on your android device . I am a firefighter nyfd . What state are you from . We have tone and voice pagers . I wasn't aware of the text msg. And i have one uncle and a cousin that are deputy chiefs . What system are you guys running.

That's what i was about to say and if you from texas has the app and the hit signal for sms only but dispatch is to send the sms to the firefighters that's on the shift if its paid services . And most volunteer services do the same

Im a volunteer from California, we have voice pagers that go off, the texts are nice though incase u forget the address or street. and only paid personel get the texts because if our command center had all of our numbers in a lot of personal information goes through those texts such as gate numbers to houses etc. and if someone loses or changes number and no one knows then someone else gets it then and we cant be having everybody get it, only CAL FIRE employees

Then the same thing would apply if your phone was auto forwarding texts if someone changes their number or looses their device. It would then appear to me that only the paid personal should get the texts, if that is their policy.
