G2 Camera

So far everything about this phone has been great, except the camera. I was still at 51% battery after 16 hours yesterday, love it. For the camera being one of the main highlighted parts of this phone, it has really been poor so far. Both my wife and I got the G2. If we are taking shots of our daughter indoors, it doesn't matter what setting we us, if she is moving the shot will be blurry...guaranteed.

I don't have the phone (yet).

Is there any setting to control OIS (Optical Image Stabilization), or other low-light exposure?

Did you try another camera application downloaded from the PlayStore?

Is there any smartphone camera that doesn't get blurry image for moving kids? I'm not aware of any.

I was just goofing around last night, nothing moving, but here's a couple low light pics I took. Personal experience, this phone/camera is great. The sensor on this must be strong/sensitive, whatever its called... the G2 pics almost look like I had all the lights on.

The only light was from the TV and one of those little enegry efficient bulbs in a spotlight aimed at the wall. The pics from the Gnex are how Im used to seeing low light shots. Very surprised at how well the G2 handled it.

I know its not the most interesting subject matter, I was just testing the lighting condition.

The main thing that bugs me is the blurriness when panning. When you are taking a picture dead on it is fantastic, the detail is incredible. As soon as you go to move though it just looks blurry until it focuses. Idk maybe I'm just really picky. Plus in video mode it has a hard time autofocusing.
