I tried using the free overnight code as well. Mine was in the same 6 sequence as yours. Not sure what the holdup on yours would be?! Weird...but hopefully soon on yours!

I had mine billed to my account as well.

Yeah, I'm not too worried about it. FedEx has it as overnight delivery with a delivery date of 4/27 by 3PM. That's their committment so that's what they have to deliver by. I've also seen stuff shipped sometimes that mysteriously skip the picked up step and just magically appear with a status of on the truck for delivery. My guess is they miss doing the pickup scan.

BTW, I've already received a second email from Verizon again stating the order shipped and giving me my ESN number for the phone.

close, UPS/FED EX use the same type of "refresh" system

when the system updates the status of a package it won't always show up right away, sometimes, it takes the system post update for that hourly period to show up, for example

sometimes status updates don't show up until 10pm at night when they can be shipped out around 4pm but the website doesn't reflect this until the website does its update to sync all the data

many times the picked up/out for delivery status is the first to be updated on the site without a sync update, its the received at hub or scan for departure update that usually takes the longest to appear

does that help?

could the shipping order possibly be based upon location? considering they estimate delivery before 3pm, 430pm ect.. maybe the east coasters are getting their shipments out first? anyone who already recieved shipping info want to give their location?

Yes it does. I've seen it many times before so I'm not really worried. I'd still like to see it say picked up though. lol :D

if there like Amazon shipping on weekends, i can predict a picked up status change around 10pm or a little later depending on your location

I'm in Lancaster, PA - so I can certainly live with NJ or even PA.

If everything goes out tomorrow, I'll def have mine by Wednesday - possibly Tuesday :cool:

Doesn't matter. Everything goes through Memphis. I don't know that you'll get it early. If it's 2-day service, it'll get there in 2-days. In my experience, if you shipped something from an address in Memphis to another address in Memphis, it would still take 2 days. Except for ground service, you don't get your FedEx package any sooner or later than the scheduled day. The only exception is FedEx saver which can vary based on the system load. Now, if this was UPS, you could order it ground and you might get it the next day. I have received packages in MD from NJ within a day on ground service.

Every time I ordered from Verizon and it was 2 day delivery it always came the next day but I'm in Georgia.

not really, it goes by the main distribution hub for that region, Virginia is the cut off line for the PA/MD/NJ/NY region, i used to work for FedEX and main one for my area is Hagerstown, MD all my Fed EX shipments come from there before being delivered.

Memphis is more south so anyone beyond Virginia yes, they will be going to that hub

once again, its based on region, its cost effective and shipment time isn't nearly as long

and you can also bet your phones that Verizon slapped a "DND" on these until a certain date

haha i feel like we need to yell bingo or something when it hits our orders
