Gotta love Lego Bugdroid

Yeh, I certainly see a heck of a lot the Android logo here.

Even on objects that have absolutely nothing to do with the OS...

EDIT...I've just realised the connection... it's a cookie or sweet jar of course.

Haha, since the logo is a character, there are endless possibilities of what you can do with it. That's why I don't really like text based logos that much anymore as there's nothing fun you can do with them.

I think the most important thing with a graphic based trademark or logo, they work very well internationally, especially for non-English speakers....don't have to change anything and it remains instantly recognisable. The Android robot logo is a great example, same for the Apple, Nike, Adidas, etc.

Of course because the Android logo is a character, and the Apple logo is an object, they really do lend themselves for a bit of fun....

I'm not a fan of text based logos and trademarks either, so often have to be changed for the country.

Coca Cola in Chinese.

For a while I thought his name was Andrew lol.

Has it actually got a name? Like Andrew or Bugdroid?

I just know it's an extremely successful trademark. And thanks to the free licensing it has, there's no real fear of copyright infringement and DMCA takedowns...especially looking at most avatars on this forum...LOL...including my own.

Yeah, I love how the logo is open source, just like the operating system. It's a fun logo as well. Probably my favorite of all time.

I think the official name is Bugdroid, but I'm not sure.
