Refunding Account Balance

Hi here's my sitituation I upgraded my phone in august and silly me now i want a iphone 4 and there going for a resonable $200 at virgin mobile anyways. I added money to pay my bill oct 30th before i decided to move on at get a iphone and the money is still on my account balance and i checked with boost and they don't do refunds is there ANY way to get my money back I paid with a debit card. Cause I want to transfer my number before my new month starts.

I think you can use your boost balance on the play store but that wont help much if youre going iphone

It's been awile since I was on boost, but when I had my prevail I seem to remember an option on one of the account balance pages.

I'm pretty sure that you're either going to have to wait it out and transfer your number halfway through the final month or eat the balance, neither they or Virgin Mobile offer refunds and once you port the number your account will be closed with no access to the balance. If you have a friend or relative on Boost you might be able to transfer the funds to their account, I was able to do that with Virgin awhile ago. Good luck.

I was told that once you port a number out the account is closed automatically. If you dont want to close the account you cannot port the number. Once the account is closed any balance remaining on the account is erased and there is no way to take the money out. I was also told that I cannot use the balance on my account to pay towards a different Boost account.
