Root Root after latest OTA ?

Anyone see or hear anything about rooting after the latest OTA? pwnmymoto and rock my moto don't seem to work, unless I'm doing something wrong.

Any help is deeply appreciated.

RockMyMoto will work on the ota. I used it to reroot mine.

Can you explain how you got it to work? I put it in the phone and when I went to install it, it failed.

Its more than just installing an apk this time. I followed some directions on xda I'll post the link when I get to a computer.

I took the update on my rooted maxx and it updated fine and root stuck. Of course I ran this by the developer on gchat before blindly doing it. Do not do this if you pwned your maxx. As mentioned after the update you can rock your maxx.

If you don't get it, on our phones there is a difference between root, pwn, and rock. Figure that out first by doing some reading and you will be fine. I'm happy with just having root and having the update.

Well well well, the only reason I wanted root was the entitlement check change for tether but Foxfi (paid version) is working again, seems they updated it today, found the info on xda.

You used this method after getting the OTA 4.4 on your maxx or before.
