Does anyone here also have a 2013 nexus 7?

I'm thinking of getting one, and wondered how the performance stacks up?

Is it as quick and snappy as the n5?

Or anyone with the 4.4 update on the 2012 N7. I gave my old one to my wife and she couldn't be bothered to check for the update last night.

I have a 2012 wifi Nexus 7 and a 2013 lte Nexus 7. I manually installed the OTA on the 2012 version list night, but am still waiting on an ota link for the 2013 lte one. Performance on the 2012 one seems pretty decent, though I had just flashed the factory image to bring it back to stock so the device was clean. I sideloaded the G.E.L. to give it the complete feel. I have a weird bug that whenever I hit home while in an app to get to the home screen that it brings up SwiftKey. Not sure if it's the actual update, a SwiftKey bug, or due to the launcher not being optimized for this tablet.

I've seen a few people on reddit have the same problem with opening the keyboard when going to the home screen, but they were reporting it with the Google keyboard, so it may be a bug within 4.4 itself

One of the Dalvik/ART video demo's had the keyboard pop up each time the guy hit the home button. I remember thinking it was odd.

I have the 2013 Nexus 7 that's still on 4.3 and it's been snappy from the day I got it. That's what motivated me to buy the Nexus 5 without hesitation. Finally got tired of Samsung's crap slowing down my phone!
