I actually ordered 4/24/10 @ 11:30pm Az time. Vz it appears runs off of Eastern time. At 3:30ish p.m. it was still showing pending, It is currently 6:52pm. Not sure when exactly it updated. Still no email from Vz nor FedEx #.

My tracking says:

Odd how it picked up and delivered to the FedEx location BEFORE shipment information was sent to FedEx.

Status has not changed......

Not everything goes through Memphis. Almost all of my packaging go through Newark, NJ. I'm by Reading, Pa. BTW if that helps people figure out where their phone may be going.

Also what really sucks is my phone started in West Chester as well, which is about 30 miles away from me and now it is in Newark, NJ which is about 120 miles away. Since they have stated a delivery by 3PM tomorrow I expect it is now on it's journey back across those 120 miles to my local office about 8 miles from me at the Reading airport. Kind of stupid but that is the machine that FedEx is.

I placed my order yesterday/Sunday at approximately 3:15 PM. I got the below just minutes ago. I don't put faith in the order numbering sequence.

It comes in an email approx 24 hours after your status changed...may speed up now that we are close to shipping deadlines.
 
tracking info via email seems to happen first..that's what some ppl reported but either way....I believe tracking info won't be going out until tomorrow.....they are just being fast trying to process every order by today so they can guarantee their 29th delivery
 
Got a notice 24 hours after the status change that they have shipped it out. For some reason they are shipping it out of ONTARIO, CA and I live on the east coast.

I got 2 emails with tracking info...

They were like 6 hours apart.

First one has tracking info. Second has phone confirmation with activation instructions

Just an update I thought I'd put out there since I ordered rather late compared to a lot of other people on the site.

I think that may be exactly the case. I wouldn't be surprised at all if Verizon totally blows out their original estimate of sales for the launch and all without even advertising. I'll be interested to see what the sales figures ultimately turn out to be for the Incredible. From the looks of reports today it's already caused the cancellation of the Verizon version of the Nexus One.

Wow; I thought I was the only one stuck working 40+ hours a week to pay the bills ! lol ... I REALLY wont be sleeping when the phone gets delivered on Wednesday

would be very interesting to see if it out sells the Nexus One on pre-orders when everyone said they wouldnt buy a N1 without the ability to try it in a store first. weird
