Got the update and installed yesterday. So far I noticed it killed my root. Installed through cwm recovery. Also don't have the ability to boot into recovery from using the volume button and power when off. Its been stable fast and smooth though. Only issues I have so far is the gallery app doesn't show all media from both phone and sd card, and the keyboardwilldothiswhen you selectaword and not put a space in when typing. Some of the colors on the icons are a little brighter and more animated. The status bar is different and has a different font and icons for 3/4g. Says 3g and when on lte says 4glte. Actually got 4g service at home about 2 weeks ago and its fast. That's all for now.

So you took the update and it killed root? How did you update through CWM? What were the steps you took? Thanks for the info and updates on how 4.3 is!
I had the ota download. Selected restart update install. Phone rebooted into recovery. Cwm recovery loaded. had some wording about installing unknown zip file. Selected yes to install. (Did this for the 4.1.2 update). installed update. After install recovery asked for ota recovery survival. Selected yes. It also had some more wording about not working. Next screen wss root survival and fixing SU. Selected yes. Install updated apps. Checked root with root checker, said not rooted. Now here I am.

I should ask this too while I'm here: would my phone get bricked if I took the OTA update if I'm on stock 4.1.2 or any other ROM? Just curious. I have the latest CWM 6.0 something

6.0.4.3 and it shouldn't. BUT you shouldn't even see the update unless your on stock or TW I THINK... not sure.....

Other than that, so far so good. Every once in a while I get a notification when I restart my phone to login to facebook and sync everything. I usually have to clear it 2 or 3 times and it stops.
I forgot to mention that I was on stock 4.1.2. You should be ok as long as it downloads ok and you have a good copy. Mine downloaded while I was sleeping and notified me at 3am. If you want to keep root. I say wait for a released copy that keeps root or you will have to wait like me to reroot. I did the same update from 4.1.1 but it didnt kill root.
