Root Cataclysm Install problems

I don't want to be off topic of this thread but after flashing cataclysm, I'm phone was exactly the way it looked before the flash, nova, icon packs, etc were still there but I had all the Cataclysm setting. When I have done clean flashes of ROM's with my S3 it would always make me set up my Google acct, etc. as if I was turning on the phone for the very first time. Not sure if this should of happened.

Also I did use CWM, should I try TWRP?

That definitely shouldn't have happened. Did you do a wipe (data, cache and Dalvik) before you installed? I don't know CWM at all. I have only used TWRP so I can't say, yes , definitely TWRP is better. I suspect the wipe before flashing is the issue. If you do use TWRP, make sure you have version 2.6.3.4 (or higher if a new build slips out).

Yes I did wipe data, cache and dalvik, I'm downloading again now and will try again using TWRP. Thanks!
