Sooooooooo for 100 bucks you can buy this phone with a 4.5 inch display. A QUAD CORE PROCESSOR. Running 4.2 jellybean. All it is missing is an HD display and a camera. Is this really Metro?

It has mixed reviews. One site says save more for LG model (like F6), another says it's well worth for the price.

Personally I think it's a good price for spec - price wise.

I guess Alcatel is trying to compete with aggressive price tag.

its getting to the point where phones are getting cheap enough that you can literally buy cheap android devices, hook them up via wifi and use ipcamera and have an entire security system thanks to a few usb phone chargers :P

so you won't be as good a torrent seeder as the guy with LTE but both of you will be able to watch youtube without a hitch.

Valid point. Just boils down to what you personally want out of features? Screen size, data speed, etc. When buying a low to mid range phone that sacrifice has to made somewhere. I'm personally loving my F3 little clone of the F6.

i seriously doubt youll be able to watch youtube without a hitch, crap stutters on my home internet which is faster than lte. >:O

yeah youtube acts up sometimes.

but yeah, you're not gonna get the world for $100. these onetouch phones are for those who just want the basics for a low price.

metro has certainly sold worse phones for A LOT more(lightray anyone?).

Yep

HSPA+ 21 and 42 are two separate beasts, HSPA+42 is equivalent to LTE HSPA+21 which this phone carries is not

H+42 definitely isn't equivalent to tmobiles LTE. Especially areas with 10x10MHz, even 5x5MHz areas were beating out +42. Tmobile's H+42 beats out the other carriers LTE because there networks were over or around capacity in most areas. H+42 still has good speeds though and I'm still hoping they roll out H+84 by MIMO, but it's not equivalent to LTE.
