50 Things Turning 50

For those of you over 50 years old, you might enjoy this from the Seattle Post-Intelligencer (Seattle's on-line only newspaper):

I was struck by how many of the classic old TV shows were apparently started in 1964. Addams Family, Munsters, Gilligan's Island, Bewitched, Man from UNCLE, etc. Also some classic movies, and of course, music. And finally, one of the classic cars of all times.

All that and me too, on Aug 4th. Skimming thru those I immediately heard Wally Cox's voice "There's no need to fear, Underdog is here" when I came to that entry.

The Beatles are over 50 years now. Please Please Me, March 1963, which just so happens to be the month and year I was born.
