The BH2 doesn't work the same way the G1 does. Different SPL, different bootloader all the way around. Maybe BH_Man knows how to get the BH2 in to fastboot but I haven't seen anyone post it so far.
 
I dont know the folder you need to put the splash in. We'll have to wait till BH_MAN gets on and can help us n00bs :p
I know we can change the boot loader tho because I did it before and put a hero splash on but forgot how I did it or where I read how to :eek:

Hey guys, try to keep customizing discussions out of the ROM specific threads. It already gets cluttered enough as it is, and I think BH_MAN is trying to keep the topics bug/rom-related.

I just think you're confused about what is what. The splash screen is the behold II image that displays before the android logo.

On the G1, that has to be changed via fastboot.
On the bh2 I'm guessing it has something to do with the "play logo" but that's a wild guess.

The android logo should be easy enough to change to something else, but it's not technically the same as the G1 "splash" screen.

All the HTC phones use the same basic bootloader (SPL and IPL) but Samsung uses a different bootloader. Different hardware, different code, same concept.

EDIT: Spiz is right... I digress.
 
New homescreen app rocks. The FC on the .phone has happened to me over the last couple releases; no biggie. Things look good :-)

fixed after i wiped phone, but is they're a way to add the old phone the like non twiz one (call log,contacts etc.)

BUG: also touchscreen seems to be off when i plug my phone into computer
 
bug: the notification thing at the bottom showed that I had 3G when the "REAL" notification bar at the top showed Edge, I was at home and I know that I only get Edge so I knew something was up so I tested the speed, and I was on Edge alright! I killed the Home++ task and it came back with the correct one...Edge! So I don't know what happened???

Also sometimes the tower signal bars will disappear and/or the data icon, but they only disappear on the bottom, and not the Samsung notification bar.
 
Now that i've installed warheads (which is awesome btw) i have now started getting a force close on the Cnet Scan & Shop app (which was working just fine with BH_MAN's other ROMs, but i know for fact does not work on the BHII for unfortunate souls that do not use ROMS on 1.6). the process is com.biggu.shopsmart...i really do LOVE this app and really hope that there is someway to get it to work. Any help would be greatly appreciated

also, i would like to replace the stock contact app with this one:

will the new file work right if i pull the default app, rename this one, and push it back?

Have you tried reinstalling it?
 
I did have the bh2 stock 1.5 no twiz. and then i realized BH_man came out with this, i have tried to put it on my phone nd this is what happens. please, advice. tia

ok, I cant figure this out. I have tried loading all three, it took me all the way back to stock BH2, i mean bloatware and all. So I tried doing it one at a time. it would freeze at the behold 2 screen, so i battery pulled and went on to the phone part. froze agian at behold 2 screen. batt pulled. the went to pda. And agian i'm back to stock BH2. I dont understand what I'm doing wrong. I have the ops in there each time, and wait until is says "pass" in odin. I dont want stock, lol please please help.
 
Pun intended, Warheads is the Bomb! I'm finding it to be ultra responsive and stable after a day of pretty heavy usage. I got through the ODIN process after a great deal of late night trial and error. I got everything flashed by first flashing ops and boot together, then phone and pda seperately. Even then it took several tries on different USB ports ( I may have a squirrelly port or two). After that I had a normal appearing boot that stalled after several minutes on the android screen. I fixed this by removing my SD card, and then reinstalling it hot. That seemed to be the only way it would accept the card. It's well worth the effort though, this is a really nice build. Thanks BH_Man!
 
I've been using WarHeads for about 7 hours now, and the battery life is less than stellar, but still better than Twix, and I think it will get drastically better with it's second charge. I have had a few odd FC's, but nothing I could reproduce. So far, this is my favorite rom, and I have no plans to switch to a different one unless BH_MAN does something drastic, or comes out with a 2.1!

I do have one question: Is there any way to disable screen rotation for the home screen? I want it in apps, but I only want to use the home screen it portrait mode.

Guys Regarding the FC, once it you let it Run it's Gets alot better Over time :D
If you ever get a Force Close / Wait , Always Choose wait, no need to close it.

I'll be starting on the Galaxy Build and I feel that is enough flavors on no Twiz to keep everyone happy.

Barak Compiled an AOSP 1.6 build last night, so Hoping to switch to AOSP after I get done with the Galaxy build.

AOSP means better compatibility & likely more Mods will work from XDA as well... I'm going to do the family thing for a bit ( Just woke up after staying up almost all night trying to answer Questions on IRC lastnight / Morning ). Barak will be Uploading the AOSP build for me later tonight, so expect it in a few days.
 
Yeah this rom is nice,one thing i missed from Advanced Launcher is the ability to hide icons in launcher,maybe one day Bhman can merge that feature in Home+.Thanx for blessing us with new roms.
 
Just now updating from R6... been busy. Installed all three at once with no issues on win7 x64. If you're having trouble installing with your drivers then Ill post em if you'll remind which system file they're in.

What usb drivers did you use for Win7 64bit? I had to use my laptop with Win7 32bit.
Also, do you have a link to the drivers?

Update: The App Menu problem fixed itself a couple of hours after I changed the setting.

Ya, problem comes and goes, but mostly comes :D as you have said, not a deal breaker but wd be gd if can be sorted out in the next update :)

Idk about WarHeads but in Twix you hit menu/more/extended and its an option

from the home screen hit Menu>Preferences>Screens>Orientation (uncheck)
screen still rotates in apps, but leaves home screen in portrait only.
