Wifi on\off shortcutt

Hi im allways forgetting to turn the wifi off,would be a big help if i had a button on the home screen to turn it off on.

Longpress on one of the home screens and choose to install a Widget. Go down the list and pick Power Widget (or one with a similar name). That should give you a widget with the WiFi, Bluetooth, Location, Sync and Brightness controls. This is built into the Android OS by default, unless your carrier removed it.

Nice one now that is a very handy app/widget just what i wanted,Im sure ill be having more than just the wifi.

Good point no because i keep forgetting to turn the wifi off so by having it on the homescreen i can see its turned on so i will remember to turn it off.

I use Tasker to turn on and off WiFi automatically for applications that require WiFi. I also have placed a Tasker shortcut on my Home screen to turn WiFi off or on. Tasker has a bit of a learning curve, but Youtube has been a great help for me.

WiFi timeout 5 mins, 15 mins, 30 mins, 1hr, 3hrs.

No timeout on the Ace 2.

WiFi Location Toggle is the name. Search 'wifi location' and you will find it.

It does not use GPS.
