Okay...I delayed the update until one I went to sleep and woke up with 4.3. I have had it for about 2 weeks and I hate it...

I have Titanium Backup....can I do a restore to one of my last backups and get rid of 4.3 and have my rooted phone back

Or if should I just SBF and then re-root?

Or if neither of these two options....what can I do?

Ok...I tried KINGO and it says Root Failed. I closed down Kingo and tried it again and it said Root Failed. I am on the screen that says "Downloading....Do Not Turn Off Target"

What do I do now?

I see you've found the resolution by pulling the battery and rebooting:)

Try a fresh download of Kingo and try it again. I am not that familiar with Kingo to troubleshoot it, but are you supposed to be in download mode with Kingo?
Do you need to have "usb debugging" turned on when using Kingo?

Not sure why Kingo didn't work but I used "Saferoot" and it was simple and straight forward. I am now back to being rooted.

To anyone who wants to root their i535 S3 running 4.3 here is how I gained root

Download Saferoot.zip...make sure you have the proper driver installed on your computer and make sure you have USB Debugging checked. Follow instructions in link below.

I read something about freezing a certain app on TI to prevent future updates from taking affect...do you know which one to freeze on the S3?
