Very nice. Flashed first thing this morning and no problems. Going to run this battery cycle with dkp kernel and see what happens. Also, decimalman is hinting that the next build of his kernel will be something special, so look out for that, hopefully sooner rather than later.

Thanks and Idk why but yesterday I was on my phone on the website I barely use a computer and it wouldn't pop up I would go to the download section choose d2spr and nothing showed
Update: now I see the build dates just can't click on any of them
I had the same response from a user on XDA yesterday about not being able to access their downloads on his phone. I always use my computer for downloads, so am not really sure why there is currently a difference when accessing the Carbon website.
Don't know what to tell you, MMS is working great both directions for me, currently on 2/9 build, using EvolveSMS.

For those of you having MMS issues, try EvolveSMS or my favorite ChompSMS to make sure your proxies are set correctly. Personally, I'm using the Sprint address and mine are working fine. Others may need to try mm.myboostmobile.com . The other settings are the same.

I've been trying to find that screen forever lol. On my galaxy s2 I had to adjust those settings. I got my msl.
Do the settings stick for any app?

That screen is found in the ChompSMS app itself. Get ChompSMS then open the app. Open its settings/SMS & MMS Network Settings/ APN Settings. There you find that screen and be able to make the proper adjustments.
Also note that you will want to disable only notifications in the stock app. You will probably be asked if you wish to make ChompSMS your default messaging app. Do so.
After these changes have been made, reboot and you should be good to go.
MAKE SURE THERE ARE NO SPACES AFTER THE PERIODS IN THE ADDRESS TOO.
Edit: you won't need your MSL to do any of this. Hang on to it though. It's always good to keep your MSL. You may need it to change the PRL if you ever decide to do that.

Seeing as the changes are made from within the app itself, I would think that it only applies to that app. As for the changes sticking, they will stick in the ChompSMS app. Just make sure any changes are saved when you make them.
Another member and I were working on getting his MMS working with Carbon. He changed his settings to the same settings I have in the screen shot and his MMS started working.
As the picture shows, I am using the sprintpcs settings. Try installing ChompSMS and changing your settings to the ones I have in the screen shot. Then see if it will work.

I'm wondering if it depends on the area you live in because I've seen both used. The guys having trouble may want to try both.

By Dirty flashed struckn's de-asserted New Carbon this afternoon. Great.
I also clean installed the CM11 Monthly for a comparison. CM11 is nice, as always. No problems found.
But, I love Carbon. There are so many little touches that make it. superior to CM11 as it currently stands.
The most practical advantage to me is the way that Carbon allows switching between radio modes: 3g CDMA, 3g. HRPD, and LTE. The automatic switching is almost flawless and the manual switching via the notification tiles is impressive, especially compared to the current state of these functions in CM11.
I say this as a guy who lives in an area that if currently going through a volatile Sprint LTE installation. You never know what your signal is going to do and Carbon handles this state of Flux in a superior manner to CM11. At least as it is currently implemented.
The look and feel of Carbon is also superior, in my opinion.
I never thought that I would find a Rom that I like better than the CM family, but Carbon is it.
The camera with Carbon is buggy, especially if you switch to Video and back. I had to pull the battery to recover from this.
I have not had these problems with CM11.
BT on both Roms if awesome and connects instantly. I have not had this happen on TW Roms.
For some reason Music though BT sounds better to me on Carbon vs CM11 too. Less distortion. Not sure of the explanation for this.
To be fair, my hunch is that you are more likely to get a reboot with Carbon than CM11. CM11 might be a little more stable at this point. But then, I have been dirty flashing Carbon, so that may have something to do with that.

Chomp works using the boost Mobile info for me. But I'm thinking if switching back. I love, love the customization options in this ROM. Like I would literally pay to have them. But in the 24 hours I've ran this I've realized I can't get MMS without a 3rd party app, yesterday when trying to use the camera lock screen widget the camera kept FC'ing. That's fine, I just rebooted it. But 5 minutes ago I just had a random reboot. While I was typing my response to this ironically lol. I'm holding on to hope but the funny thing is I didn't have ANY of the problems on cm11, which is crazy cause I love this ROM
Two other suggestions for you, despite being third party-try Cymera for a nice camera app, and give Hangouts a try for messaging. Cymera can be set as the default lock screen camera widget too.

Do you use Cymera. I haven't. I'm not having any issues right now with my camera and what I'm running but I think I'll still give the app a try and see how it does. :thumbup:

I have it installed now and it's nice. Only one thing. I don't see a video option. Hmmmmmm, does it have one and I'm just overlooking it? Other than that it looks very nice. I really like the look and U/I.
Looks like they fixed the web page so that you can download nightlies from the stock browser instead of having to use a desktop.

No video feature currently. I rarely use the camera function in the first place, but do use Cymera when I do. Very nice UI as you mentioned. When stock camera is reported as being buggy on various nightlies for various ROM's, this one seems to not have the same problems.
After a few days of no builds for d2spr, there is a nightly for 2/12 on the Carbon download page. Changelog indicates that PIE has been added, along with some BlueTooth fixes, so looks like this one is worth flashing! About to do so myself in just a minute here.
OK people, for anyone having camera issues (freezes, crashes, need to reboot after using) here is a working .apk file for the camera issue, I extracted it from the 2/3/2014 build of Vanir ROM and used it to replace the one that came with the latest build of Carbon. Did a clean install and took a bunch of pictures, switched to video, back to camera mode, switched back and forth from rear camera to front camera, back to video, then back to camera, both front and rear. You get the point. No freezes or crashing. Hopefully there are no issues after prolonged usage, but I think I gave it a fair initial shakedown. Download this .apk file to your desktop, then open your zip of Carbon ROM, navigate to system folder, then app folder, and just drag and drop this .apk in, it will ask you about replacing the current one (don't rename anything or this won't work, it needs to be camera2.apk), accept the changes and then close the zip file. Happy flashing!
