Root [T-Mobile] right link for 4.1.1

I don't see 4.1.1 for my SGH-T999L (T-Mobile)
SamMobile doesn't have it either. It could have been some interim small bug fix. And (no guarantee here, just a thought), flashing he latest 4.1.1 might work. (It might also brick your phone.)

and after I unlock the sim what should I upgrade to? 4.3? or what? why?
4.3? On an S3? After the thousands of bug reports? 4.2.anything. Or just wait for 4.4, wait a few weeks to see who screams how loud and, if they got it right this time, accept the 4.4 update. (I won't even think about it until maybe May or June - I want a few months for the screams to start.)

thanks good advice

I'll just buy the code for $27

Plus depending on when you bought the phone, it may be illegal to unlock it on your own without T-Mobile's consent.

I am having this same issue, except I am with T-Mobile through Walmart's FamilyPlan and I am trying to flash the stock firmware to just fix my "stuck on Samsung Logo issue"....cant find it anywhere...
