is there some sleep mode we can use?

To save max battery at night.. long trip.. do we really need to turn it off?

A bit like sleep or hibernste on PC

My droid 3 had sleep option.. my galaxy s3 doesn't

In airplane still eats some battery even with as ll apps killed.. snd not touched..

But if I fully off it .. takes time to boot .. to long sometimes to tske note or snsp thst picture

thank you ..

PS I'm on Samsung Galaxy s3

Hi

You don't say what device you have. On most newer Samsung devices there is "blocking mode" which allows you to silence notifications calls (from selected numbers) alarms etc for a timed period. Not sure about other makes.

OP, what are you trying to accomplish with sleep mode? Is it while you're asleep? Just sitting in your pocket?

AFAIK, airplane mode is as close as you'll get. What you might want to do is to go into your settings to see what apps are eating up so much of your battery. You might have a janky one misbehaving.

Yes, and Google Location Services is one of the biggest offenders. Turn that off and your wakelocks that prevent deep sleep will go way down. Of course, you'll have to re-enable it again for Maps accuracy and for Google Now to work. You could get Greenify to automate the function (newest version works for unrooted devices too).

thank you every one ..

hmm so it's either airplane or full off :/

thanks

This is a real shame. I'm looking to hibernate an android tablet (hibernate to hard/flash drive, like a PC). From what I read here, it seems an unlikely possibility.
