Hey , I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 2 i317m & my carrier is CLARO , its on stock firmware JB 4.1 , i have try to update it on sofware update on about device and keeps loading and doesnt find anything, & there isnt a Rom for my Carrier (CLARO) i was wondering if could install the AT&T or T-mobile Rom version & Change the carrier on build.prop to Claro?, idk Pls someone help me i wanna get kitkat on my Note 2 or 4.3

Sadly, each custom operating system is carrier dependent, and just changing the build.prop back to CLARO will NOT tune the phone's radios to the CLARO network. If you try that, you're in for nothing but trouble. Trust me.
You would want to contact CLARO and ask why they're holding up on Note 2 updates. Maybe if enough people ask them, they'll commit the time, personnel and re$ource$ to push out a newer Android version. CLARO is not one of the larger providers, so I can safely expect that there won't be a lot of development for it as far as custom ROMs go.
