Root [MetroPCS/CDMA] GPS??

O you didn't say you was traveling . last I looked in the mirror I didn't look like a mind reader. Now to fix your issue . your moving in a car you would need to stop and get a fix on your location and let the map download at that time . I had this issue but when I pulled into a gas station it loaded fast and I had a free WiFi to help from either a freezer or from some sort of unlocked WiFi but when I went back to carrier it worked also .

Ur right I should have let u know I wasn't looking for my living room with my GPS... Anyway tks for the input..
 
Try removing the back cover, get a small star head screwdriver and tighten up all the screws. They tend to loosen from the phone getting knocked about.
 
No, the only way to fix it is to hop on one leg, wearing a tiara while barking like a dog.
Although, for some weird reason, that doesn't seem to fix it while I'm in the shower
