Help Keyboard obscuring FB message text

Hi guys,

I'm having trouble with the FB app. When I am sending a FB message, if I turn the phone longways the keyboard obscures the message text so I can't see what I'm typing.

This used to happen before but simply pressing return brought the message text into view, this workaround isn't working any more.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this?

Not sure that's what the OP had in mind, but I'll give you it's a solution!

Tap on the message being typed, that works usually.

Considering the price and technology involved in the handset, it would be nice if the basic functionality worked without having to hold the unit in a manner that was cumbersome and awkward to type with.

Regardless, I have resolved the issue by installing the new FB messenger app.
