torch shortcut?

So there's no quick shortcut for a torch in notification bar? A torch toggle is so like cup holders isn't it these days? I hope I don't regret my SGS5 purchase!

If there's not a shortcut, there are loads of apps and widgets you can put on your homescreen to get there. And, they're pretty much all free.
I do agree though why this isn't standard for Android. It's one of the best things in nearly all custom ROMs.

There's a torch widget though. Just put it on your homescreen.
