Root [Virgin Mobile] Looking for No hassle 4.4 Rom working MMS on Stock Messaging

Im looking for a 4.4 rom that will send and receive MMS. Using handcent or hangouts isnt an option. I use shady sms on 4.3 and vegas sms is the replacement for shady if im on a 4.4 rom. vegas sms will not work for MMS if the stock messaging doesn’t work for MMS. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

As of yet there are no 4.4 roms with mms working on the stock app. Most people are using Hangouts, Handcent or Textra.

You can use liquidsmooth you just have to manually add the apn if you want to use native messaging. You have to install a launcher like Nova. Add the activities/settings shortcut for apn then go in and add one with vm settings. I was doing that to use stock messaging until I realized I like hangouts. Although I don't understand how something else isn't an option. I can, however, understand preferring stock.

I'm on boost so my settings are different however I'm sure there are posts here in the vm section that tell you the correct settings for your carrier.

It does fix the data issues but not mms for stock messaging.

I was in the same boat as you before I tried textra. Its very similar to stock, and doesn't have a ton of bloat like other third party messaging apps.

MMS works perfect for me man but you have to understand that all phones are different. What works for me may not work for you.
