Nvrmind about the camera bug.. i had another camera app installed (google camera) and when i tried using the camera app from the lock screen it froze. It didnt know wich one to use. So i uninstalled it and now its working great.

You use it thru Odin. Download the latest version of Odin on your computer download kies to install the drivers place the tar file in Odin and flash away. If you plan on doing a lot of flashing to a Samsung device you'll be using Odin alot. There's a ton of videos on you tube on how to download and run Odin. If you ever screw up a galaxy device Odin is your best friend.

make sure you extracted it once, you should end up with an "md5" file. you dont want the 1.5gb zip, the tar.md5 will be a lot bigger, thats what you flash.

There's 2 metro networks the pre-merger CDMA network and the post-merger GSM network. The GSM network is the same exact one as T-Mobile.

9 out of 10 times it's the GSM network but the CDMA network will start shutting down by the end of the year anyway

Plus MetroPCS no longer sells CDMA smartphones so all their current phones are GSM and will connect to the GSM network, which uses T-Mobile towers.

I've seen some dealers still selling which is shady if they're not telling them about the shutdown but they haven't released a new CDMA phone in about a year

I don't know how tmobile is in the burbs where I live. It is pink on the map but experience teaches me that means nothing. So is metropcs cheaper? Otherwise what is the advantage of metro over tmobile?

Traveling is better on tmobile and I wood day handset selection but they are the same

My GS5 should get to my house Wednesday night at 8pm according to FedEX. Too bad Ima be at work lol. I'm excited though. I already bought two cases, one tempered glass screen protector and a regular screen protector. I'm ready!
