Help SwiftKey on S5

ALR60

Newbie
Has anyone successfully installed SwiftKey on their S5? I have used it on my S3 and Tab 3 just fine, but I have tried and tried and get an error every time I try and install it on the S5.

Unknown error code during application instal: "-24"

The default stock keyboard appears to have a SwiftKey option.
Not sure how much true SwiftKey that really is, but I'm using it and it 'swipes' just like my old SwiftKey on Galaxy Nexus.

I think I used to have a function in Swiftkey to automatically fix small errors like capitalizing "i" and adding apostrophe to contractions without enabling full fledged auto correction (which messes up acronyms and tech jargon). Is it still there or was the function Im thinking of from another keyboard app? Thanks!

SwiftKey works fine on my S5. Actually, it's faster than it was on my S4. And while it uses the SwiftKey engine, the Samsung keyboard is no match for SwiftKey.

I have the S5 and one of the keyboard options was Swiftkey. I'm using that now. It's pretty good but it just doesn't seem to be quite as good. Probably Samsung tinkering with it.

I've had Swiftkey on my last two phones and it's the best by far.

I do like the added row for the numbers on my phone now rather than having to toggle to a different area. With this size screen it's really nice.

Thinking I'll use this one until the Swiftkey folks add this feature.

Go into SwiftKey settings and reduce the long press delay to 200ms. This speeds up selecting numbers and symbols via long press. It's the reason I don't miss a number row.
