i stayed with the LG motion for a long time, I've switched to the LG-L70, but it is rather meh. With the limited memory / together with KitKat means it is boring. I'm wondering if the insiders know of the phones in the pipeline. My price range is preferably under a $100.

Me personally from a outsider perspective, there is no reason to wait for metro to release new phones anymore.. Just buy unlocked or used...

Sorry, you're not going to find any great phones for under $100 new. Even the budget conscious Moto E coming soon is $129 and has the same 4GB as the L70.

I'd look for a used phone. :)

Bought the lg f3 on closeout ($60) at target. Have to use for two months on brightspot, but can then unlock to move over to t mobile ( 100 min/5gb) $30 plan.

Going with this person's idea, you can check for the phones on closeout. Also, if you know anyone that works @ Target, the employees (team members there) should have all received a 40% off coupon to use. You might be able to have them purchase it for you and save even more money.

Not a bad deal, but the F3 only has 4GB of internal storage, same as the L70 which the OP suggested was not enough.

Are there any current or soon to be released 8GB - 16GB phones under $100 new?
