Trade Nexus for Galaxy S5?

Love my Nexus but was offered a straight up trade for an s5. Would u do it? S5 is worth more for sure and will have a higher resale value. Just concerned about the slightly bigger size. Any thoughts?
 
You could trade it, sell it, and almost buy 2 nexus 5's :)

I'd probably do it for the resale value alone. I really don't like samsungs bloat, and you don't realize how bad it is until you taste pure android. However, if you don't like it, you can always sell it and go back.

Agreed. Someone once asked me whether, if offered, I'd exchange my Skoda (the best car I've ever had) for a BMW. My answer was 'yes', then I'd sell it and buy another Skoda and have the house redecorated.
 
if you like bloat from touchwiz, and laggy key/button presses, dodgy android updates which personally ruined my note, and s3, go for it lol.

Since owning the N5, I wouldn't touch a samsung device with a barge pole, but that's just me personally.
 
I'd do it in a heartbeat. I've loved my samsung devices (I immediately "replace" touchwiz with Nova Launcher). Factor in the reality that you could easily sell the GS5 and buy a new Nexus 5 (or 6 if you hang on to it for 4-5 months), plus put enough in your pocket to pay for a case, screen protector, and wireless charger.

No question in my mind. Of course, I owned 4 different phones between Nov 2012-Nov 2013.
 
Yeah, I'd do it to sell it, then buy the OnePlus. I'd never do the swap if I had to keep the S5 over the N5.
