Flappy Bird May Return

Yeah, I didn't see any articles, but I assume they must have reversed course on that based on the number of Play links to clones we have seen.
 
Not one ounce of interest in this silly game. He should be embarrassed to make money off of such a time (and brain) waster. 'Course, I no longer smoke weed, and maybe that's what makes the game "exciting". :rofl:
 
But just think of all those who spent more than they should on iOS devices just because it had Flappy Bird installed.

Its one of those annoying games that caught on. Think about it. Soon there will be another game come out that is even better/stupid that will be the next fad. This game wasnt that bad. Graphics were great, and the over all design was, but the way the game is played is pointless. If he were to create this game with advancements , and coins to buy stuff like booster packs or what not would be perfect. Its kinda boring just seeing how far you go with levels.
 
To people flappy bird may be a boring and stupid game but in my book its an iconic game. People say alot of crap about it but I know there are 100's maybe if not 1000's still have the game on their phone.
 
Actually, he tweeted recently that he's making a new game and people should calm their flappy excitement down.

Also, here's some details about the flappy game update (or maybe that will be new game? I'm not sure)

And as a developer I will restrain myself from commenting on all this flappy-mania. I understand it, but it's undeserved. And clones... omg... the clones...

I wish. There are so many clones that pop up any time a new game gets popular. It's sad when a clone becomes the popular version.

The developer has said he's bringing it back in August, with a new feature. I have a hard believing anyone will care by then. They will have already moved on, or found a favorite clone.
 
I am excited about the new release and the changes he will have made for this app. It may be an annoying game but it was a fun game to pass time. I can't wait. I am a flappy bird lover :)
 
Don't care, the attention games like this get is a sure sign mobile gaming hasn't matured yet.

People should be talking about award winning games like The Walking Dead or UFO Enemy Unknown and not this rubbish.
 
Can't judge something if millions downloaded. Its a game that people caught onto and this game is bringing the mobile gaming to where it should be.

Where it should be? this is why large developers stay away from mobile gaming, they spend millions developing a games only for it be drowned out by tons of simple free / premium games.

It would be like a free flash game on the PC/Console competing in downloads with huge AAA titles like Call Of Duty Ghosts, it's crazy and not where mobile gaming needs to be going.

Recent additions like Half Life 2 and Portal for Android is where Android gaming should be going, obviously minus the exclusivity deals but at least nvidia are helping bring quality games to Android.

Google and Apple need to find a way to separate the crud from the quality titles because both apps store are a mess when it comes to finding quality games.
 
Quality of a game isn't judge because if free or not. Its by how much its enjoyed. IMHO there are free games out there that are way better than priced games.
