Help I think email/exchange services is killing my battery life.

Dudes!

I recently clean flashed a new rom test build and before I remembered to re set up my email (hotmail and work email, microsoft exchange) I was getting mad battery life! Like uber mad battery life BUT as soon as I set up those email addresses my batter life is in the toilet!

I've checked for erratic syncing and it doesn't seem to be that, I've check my gsam battery stats and it doesn't look like exchange/email is the culprit BUT that was the only thing that changed and it had a drastic, immediate impact!

I'm thinking that maybe if I can get both my other accounts to forward to my gmail that might help (my gmail was set up when I was getting the mad battery life) but so far my attempts to get that to happen have failed

Has anybody previously managed to get non-gmail forwarded to their gmail successfully and if so how?

Before thinking about email forwarding, remember that you can't reply to emails from the original email address unless it's a gmail address. For instance, if someone emails your work email, it forwards to your gmail, you reply back to that person from your gmail address, which could be strange.

Secondly, try to delete both synced email accounts and then add them again. That worked with me in the past!
