Nexus 5 or Moto x

Ive had my Nexus for 4 months and decided to try the moto x. The main reason was the size, I am not a fan of the larger phones. However now that I am using the moto x i fell like it is so small since I have gotten used to the 5" screens. I am thinking of returning the moto x and just keeping the nexus til either the nexus 6 or android silver is launched. Thoughts on what the netter phone is?

Specwise, the nexus is significantly better. I'm really curious about what the X+1 will be like though.

Yeah spec wise it is but real world they are really lose. I've had them side by side and they are neck and neck. Nexus is slightly faster.

I'll be interested in what the next iteration of the MotoX looks like, but at this point IMO it wouldn't be worth getting the MotoX if you've got the nexus 5.

Its a year old device that already had upper-mid range specs when it debuted.

If the nexus isnt for you thats no big deal, but I would probably recommend returning the motoX and seeing if the X+1 is a better fit when it comes out.

It doesn't seem like theres anything on the nexus 5 thats a deal breaker for you right now, so if you can get by with the larger screen for another month its probably worth seeing what comes out.

Solid advice. Think ur spot on. Thanks

One option I've considered is to pick up a Moto G LTE for $219. While the Moto G is clearly a "lesser" option, it still has very good reviews and has the MicroSD slot. It would allow me to carry a smaller phone (4.5" screen) when I want/need a smaller phone but also use my Nexus 5 when I want/need the larger screen size.

Thanks for the input. I returned the Moto X and am going to stick with my Nexus 5 til I see what happens with Android Silver or in hopes that a Nexus 6 may be released.
