Hey guys I can't access the play store, it keeps saying I have no connection but I do have WiFi and data, I cleared the data and cache etc, nothing seems to work

I've had this problem too. Usually a reboot fixes it.

Well it didn't I had to use LGs support tool and unroot my phone with SuperSU and upgrade recovery through their tool

edit: im not sure if the root may have caused this issue with the play store, therefor I'm unsure about re-rooting again :X

I'm still rooted using the towelroot method and installed 'BusyBox' right after that and I'm accessing perfectly well Google Playstore to download a few apps and update others already installed in my device, I've been able to send or receive emails, and reading the 'News' in the internet, and updating the weather conditions through a couple of apps for that matter. But I haven't uninstalled or touched anything related to system apps or the sort. Besides being rooted, I also fixed the read-only problem of the external SD Card that kikat introduced, and made a few tweeks here and there to optimized my device. I also installed Android Firewall to get rid of the ads of some free apps plus installed the app 'link2SD' to manage much better the storage area and with all these changes I still have no problems whatsoever, my battery even last longer and I get few more megabytes of RAM making my device much smoother and much more responsive. Bottom line if this root method had anything to do with your present problem I would still be facing the same issues, or maybe I was super lucky. Rooting have put a couple of wings to my device and I can't see myself going back to that straightjacket of unroot smartphones because of the freedom that rooting brings with it.

Regards

So I'm having issues with the Play Store as well. It keeps force closing when I try to launch it. I've rooted my device, installed Superuser SU and updated it as well. However, when I try to launch the Play Store or even update my apps, it keeps crashing. I've tried clearing cache/data and force stopped it with a reboot. It still does it. I've tried uninstalling the updates and rebooting, still happening. I even downloaded the updated APK for the store and it will open but then if an app tries to update, it'll close.

I even went so far and did a factory reset and it still does it.

It kind of sucks because I'd like to be able to download apps, etc.

Any clue/ideas what I can do?

Can you check to see if the time and date is correct if not correct it and turn on WiFi if not near one make sure you have a stable data connection with the carrier.
