Root [Virgin Mobile] NDC questions

I'm currently using MK5 Knox-free bootloader & modem on my Samsung Galaxy S3 running CM11 4.4.4.
Is it worth it to upgrade to NDC bootloader & modem?
Is there a Knox free NDC?

From what I've read (I'm also still using the MK5 on a rooted S3), the only advantage is the ability to run Touchwiz KK Roms. I don't think a Knox-free NDC is available yet.

I've read too many bad things about 4G reception going down and since I only get 1 bar of 4G at my house I'm avoiding this update.

I get great 4g in new Orleans on ndc. And who cares about Knox. It makes no difference to my phone.

It's been a hit and miss for myself. I had mk5 and my lte was pretty bad. I flash ndc and tried it for a while and it worked great in some areas (in dallas btw) but nd8 worked well in areas where ndc didn't. I've been having to switch to nd8 when i leave dallas.

My wife's phone has the ND8 modem and my phone has the NDC modem installed.

In side by side LTE speed testing sometimes her's is a little faster and sometimes mine is a little faster.

Have not seen a time where one would connect via LTE and the other one not.

YMMV
