Root LG Tool for kdz

You can still use the kdz to repair a few extra steps to do . have you tried the it's flash tool yet

What exactly did you do to send it to a bootloop? That's why I put in the bootloader post at the bottom a way to restore the laf partition. If you made a nandroid backup you should be able to restore it by booting to recovery and restoring it there.
 
there is no download mode it goes to fastboot when i put the usb and hold the vol up key
i didnt know there is a download mode

oh, derp. this happened to biggiephil as well


After using the download mode key combo do this:
Code: 
fastboot erase laf
fastboot flash laf laf.img
fastboot continue
let me know what happens.
 
dont know how to do that but it reads "ok" after each command until i type fastboot continue the the phone reads error:invalid boot image header

so when u boot normally it goes to fastboot mode and when you try to get into download mode, it goes into fastboot mode as well?
 
when i boot normal it stays on the LG boot screen the only time it goes to fast boot is when i plug in the usb cable and hold the volume up. i made a back up of every thing the first time i got into recovery on a sd card. but it wont go in to recovery or i would just do a restore.
 
I think your image might be corrupt. I actually couldnt even find a backup of the laf on my computer.
This is bigphillie's copy:
laf
Try flashing that one in fastboot.

You will have to reboot into fastboot; everytime you error out with fastboot continue, you must reboot.
 
thanks for all ur hard work i ended up just buying a new lg l70 ms323 for 50 $ at metro pcs great price if since i bricked my last one. im still gonna try to fix it. if you have any ideas let me know i tryed reflashing the laf.img that you up loaded with no luck. had a metro pcs guy do a factory reset and that didnt work either.
