Help ring and notification volume level

Is there a way to increase the volume on the S5 past the max volume from the volume rocker switch? I am missing calls and not hearing when I get text messages with the volume turned all the way up to the max. I did find an app that syncs the volume levels to the rocker switch but that only syncs them. I can have the phone sitting on the table at a restaurant and not hear the phone ring same as being on my hip and not hear the notifications.

Any suggestions or tips?

I don't know of a way to do that. What I did was pick up a ringtone maker, such as RingDroid or ringPod (most any will work). Run it, pick your ringtone and increase volume, save, then select that ringtone. I also find that music ringtones just blend into the background, I pick normal old telephone ringers and loud beepers like Nextel phones used to have. Sorry I don't have a real fix for you.

Don't know of any app to makes the ringer louder, but I use an app called "disable increasing ring", which allows the S5 to begin ringing at full volume, as opposed to the stock setting that starts the ringing softly, then increases with each ring.
