What ROM?

Well stock or aosp or cm11

Those are 3 different types or ROMs. Each condition of the 4G would be an individual .png file probably located in the framework-res.apk. Its actually just a quick swap or drag/drop via 7zip. I used to use this: UOT Kitchen back in the day. Frankly Im not sure if it works any more so use caution.

As long as you perform a nandroid backup before you mess with these files you should be fine. If the phone does not boot or has other issues you can just restore the backup. You do have a custom recovery and root right?

I have used a few apps for changing icons across multiple devices. You need to either be on a custom rom or a DEODEXED stock rom IIRC. Last time I changed icons was on 4.1.2 (different phone) and I could not find an app that worked properly. I could change maybe two icons but changing the ones I wanted either did nothing or caused serious problems with the other icons (icon not working or icons offset so the cut off). I would expect many of the apps to do this will be outdated.. Honestly I think you will have better luck doing it manually as described above. As long as you have BACKUPS!

I got it I found a app that changes icons and I found Verizon's data icons so thanks for helping in some way
