Buy this battery for your Galaxy S3 well worth it

I bought this battery before evening buying the phone. It's 3.4 greater battery life then stock. The thing last forever! I charge it once Id say every 3-4 days and that's with heavy usage. The only two down sides is it makes the phone bulky and it takes longer to charge. But hey it's worth it over all. I also bought this nice screen protector. Took a razor to it no scratches. Anti bubble so easy install. Also has Anti-glare and anti-finger print. So go on amazon and ordered you won't regret it! It cost about $40 total for both. Just wanted throw my two cents in and maybe help. P.s. download this app it helps battery greatly links below cheers!

Amazon.com: Anker

Thanks for the suggestion for the battery. I've been looking around for a replacement battery for awhile now. I think mine is dying because it's just not lasting long anymore. Anyone else have this or have other suggestions for a battery replacement?

When it comes to all phone's stock batteries in my experience they always go within a year sooner or later. Search around amazon. But I did that as well and it seemed like that battery I got was the best. It's got 500 reviews with 4 1/2 stars. My last two phones before galaxy had anker brand for batteries. After crap stock went out on both of them. So anker seems to be a good battery brand over all. Here's another battery that looks like it might be even better then me have a look. http://www.amazon.com/warranty-ZeroLemon-Extended-Protection-Compatible/dp/B00AKZWGAC

I'm using the ZeroLemon 7000mAh battery, ZeroLemon Rugged Case, and the Tech Armor screen protector.

The holster that comes with the Rugged case makes an excellent phone prop for watching movies. It has quite a few settings too. You can face the screen out and rotate the clip so that the phone leans back in a perfect angle for viewing. It can also be set to prop straight up or you can open the clip which locks in place and use it that way. All of the ZeroLemon products come with a 180 day warranty too which is great. I had a problem with my original case and they replaced it immediately.

The Rugged case is a phone saver. It is well worth the $19.99 price. I know for a fact it has saved my phone from serious damage on two occasions. IMO that makes it priceless. $19.99 is a small price to pay for the piece of mind the case gives me. It also has a plastic plate which allows a stock battery to be used with the case too.

I highly recommended each of them.

I've been using the Zero lemon battery as well. Pretty good. I was on the phone all day long and still had 82% battery. Where as the regular battery would go down 10% in 10 minutes.

In your opinion hard rubber or hard plastic case which is best for damage protection? My phone battery has hard plastic case that came with it. I know ZeroLemon battery is hard rubber case. My girlfriend is getting the Galaxy S3 this weekend and wants me to order her an extended battery. My phone battery does have slightly more power then your's at 7200. Anker Amazon 500 reviews 4 1/2 stars and Zerolemon battery at 2700+ reviews 4 1/2 stars. So that does mean something. I will buy based on your opinion far as hard rubber vs hard plastic back covers. You seem way more knowledgeable on android then me lol not trying to kiss butt just saying.

I forgot to ask Wetbiker on this question. But how is the heat on that battery over all? Anker better than the stock. I know the stock is like a hot potato lol.

I apologize it's taken so long to reply.

The ZeroLemon Rugged Case actually has a hard plastic inner case with a rubber outer shell. The Otter Box Defender, whch i also own, has both inner and outer cases too. There are quite a few cases like that on the market and those are the ones I recommend. It's a dual layer of protection. The rubber helps absorb shock better than hard plastic does.

I do not recommend getting the flimsy rubber cases. They usually either tear or stretch to the point where they won't fit nice and snug like they're supposed to.

I've used a few hard plastic cases when I was a new Android owner. There is very little protection when using those cases. Any case I buy nowadays has the hard plastic inner shell with the rubber outer casing.

I hope this info has helped. :)

I'm not sure about the Anker but my ZeroLemon never gets hotter than what's expected. You can expect a battery to heat up when charging but never to the point where it's too hot to handle.

Also, if you are running a custom kernel and overclock, you can expect the phone to get hotter than normal. If you do overclock, make sure you don't overdue it. I rarely overclock but when I do its never more than 1750. ;)

You're fine man people got lifes I understand lol. Thanks for the Insite will be buying based off your suggestion. What you told me is kinda making me wanna sell my existing one and buy this one. Yeah my battery never get's to hot to where I can't hold it. I do billion things on my phone always trying to make it perfect. Just get that annoying heat feeling. One more question hows the grip on that? Anker one is okay. The stock has horrible grip. It's like they want you to break it lol. Fyi people who just got S3 get grip case! This phone loves slipping out of your hand! Girlfriend says thanks for the suggestion wet biker :):tee:

No problem. I'm glad i could help. :)

The Zerolemon Rugged Case has raised grips on the side that really help. Unfortunately the rubber isnt the sticky kind but the grips are positioned so that you get a great grip when holding the phone with one hand.

Ive dropped my phone a few times and it wasn't because of the case. It was due to me not paying attention to what i was doing. The Zerolemon Rugged Case also has reinforced corners. Those corners have saved my phone on 2 occasions. The case is also made so the the screen is set back in the case. The edges are raised. I set my phone facing down all the time with no worries.

It really is a nice case. My other buddies who have purchased the case love it.

One thing i want to mention. I had an issue with the small plastic bar that comes down around the proximity sensor. Others did not have the issue but i still wanted to mention it. I had to remove the built in screen protector but i was going to do that anyways and replace it with a Tech Armor screen protector.

I took wire snips and cut the small plastic piece off. I even made a video describing what i did. I will attach it for you. You'll probably have to watch it from a computer. The video will not play when clicking the link from my phone.

It's all good. I've got Tech Armor on mine. I never use the built in screen protectors. I don't like the feel and response.

I'm curious. How long does it take to charge these batteries? Pretty much an overnight thing? I think it is worth it, but just wondering. I'd imagine no less than six hours and up to nine hours using it lightly while charging. Of course one wouldn't need to run it down everytime to charge it. The number one gripe I have about this phone is the battery life. Being on Wi-Fi helps but for two weeks of the month I'm without Wi-Fi and I get about 8 hours of battery life under average use in a good day. I get about 12-14 hours if I'm on Wi-Fi and barely touch my phone.

It takes quite awhile to charge the large extended batteries. If the battery is below 5% it will take a minimum of 8 hours. Longer if using the wall charger made for the battery.

Using a custom kernel and ROM, I've gotten 4 days with little use. With frequent use i get 2 days easily.

I use my home wifi the majority of the time. If you're using up a battery that fast i recommend turning off your data and GPS when not in use. Also, being in a low signal area will cause the battery to discharge quicker that normal due to the fact the the phone is searching for signal.

It is recommend that the user let an extended battery disharge to at least 5% or less. I use one of my stock batteries if the extended battery runs out during the day. I'll then charge the extended battery overnight.

I bought this battery but my problem is my reception went to crap. I live out of town so my reception isn't the best anyways. With this battery I would drop calls in my house and on my way home where I didn't before. So I'm back to stock and got my reception back. Gave my sister the battery for hers. She lives and works in town so I'm sure she will never notice the difference.

Just wished it would have worked for me. I loved having it the 3 weeks I used it as I didn't have to worry about the battery usage. I could go all day with no issues.

I did buy one of those cheap 3200 mah stock replacement Batts but it got worse battery life than the stock battery. Guess I stuck stock

Were you using the Zerolemon battery?

Wow! That's interesting. I live in a low signal area and my battery hasn't affected my service at all.

Wet would this help Fanatic's problem? "Cell phone signal booster" I don't know much about them. I think they have portable ones that attach to phone. I know they have them for house and car. His problem is common. Seems like a hit and miss far as if your area has a strong enough signal.

Sorry bro. Having never used it, I can't truly confirm if it works or not. However, I have read mixed reviews. Some say yes while others say it won't work.

My suggestion would be for him to do a good bit of research and decide for himself. Some of those signal boosters aren't cheap.

I still think it's strange that he's experiencing signal issues with the extended battery.

On a side note. I have heard of people having NFC issues with other extended batteries but not with the Zerolemon.

Good day all,
I wanted to chime in with my initial findings. I received this battery on Saturday afternoon. I put it in the phone and charged it (phone off) for 12 hours, as per the instructions that came with it. I used it all day yesterday (GPS, music, web, and assorted games and apps) Moderately heavy usage. Turned it off at bedtime, and turned it back on this morning. So far so good. The phone shows its been on for 21 hours and 40 minutes with 46%power left.
I'm amazed because with the original battery and the same usage i wouldn't get a full day out of it. I'm waiting for it to get down to 3% +/- before i fully recharge it again. I am pleasantly surprised since i have always had to charge my phones throughout the day in order to make it through the evening.
I highly recommend this battery if you are using this phone to its abilities.
Just my .02 cents
