Had a scare today.

I was taking a class today, following along with the course materials which were in PDF and Excel on Google Drive using my Tab Pro 8.4.

All of a sudden it just locked up. It was completely unresponsive. Not even the power button worked. After about 5 minutes or so, it rebooted and I saw the Samsung swirl logo followed by the simple white Samsung logo. It got stuck on that. Again, no response. After a couple of hours, the battery ran out.

It took a long time to get a charge back into it and this time it booted successfully.

Relieved but annoyed and worried that it will happen again.

The tablet may have had a download pushed through that was very important that didn't need your approval . since the data was good and you wasn't using at the moment it just did its thing . or it may have been to much data and its telling you to either update cause its just sitting or needs a full factory data reset.

Your problem is cache has reached the limit its trying to remove old files and . now if you go into manage app and clear just the app cache you will see that keyboard do its thing .

I will give it a shot and report back. Thanks!!

Check to see if a update is available from kies . it maybe time to do a factory data cleaning how long have you had the tablet .
