Whatttttt!!!!!

latest log recovery log - Pastebin.com
thats from /cache/recovery/log
im in the cwm menu right now fiddling around.
Apparently postrecoveryboot.sh isnt actually making it into the final img so its not getting executed.
So the current process is to adb in while recovery is launching and killall recovery
then hit ps and find the pid, use kill -STOP pid
then dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/by-name/misc seek=64 count=20 bs=1
then kill -CONT pid
then killall recovery
after that you are in the menu.
will do more fixes/tests to get it out of this convoluted hack job state of working.
here is what it looks like :D http://imgur.com/q9nkug4

So... Its not working?

Whatttttt!!!!!
that will give you recovery.
beware this is an alpha!
So if it wipes your data im not responsible for anything you lost!
aka i didnt test the script at all!
Do a nandroid backup before running the script!
-----------------
Plug your phone into the computer
extract this zip https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B0J5C6YxKg67cDZwVl9oZGtMSkk/edit?usp=sharing
and double click the launch.bat file
profit
-----------------
im going to document this right here:
even tho it doesnt wipe data completely, the bootloader destroys the data partition before it boots into recovery. so you have to nandroid backup /data before you boot into cwm. we are going to resolve that by moving /data to the sdcard. that will be done with a flashable zip, and we will have two different rom downloads for each type

The cwm above needs to be updated. I wouldn't use it if you actually wanted to install anything haha
EDIT: Forum thread for updated cwm has been created.
here is the kmsg for the unbooting rom

It may seem like development has stagnated. But it has NOT!
I have just simply finished polishing up cwm about two days ago and had some issues with our boot img and was lacking knowledge of updating the kernel.
And I also got all my electronics taken away because im "on them too much" and i get told to go to bed at 8:30 every night.
But besides that I will have a testable cm11 in the upcoming week.
Lucidian will be updated/debloated with supersu and xposed added in and some newer versions of applications slipped into /system/app. It will also require you to flash gapps.
And there will be a stock GT kernel that supports my external_sd /data hack so you can boot into my cwm and not have to worry about /data being wiped. (Requires 2gb of sd card space)

I've already said not to use my rom and besides I'm already working on an update for it that's just about finished. You guys can keep the stock unsecured kernel though which I posted in a new thread for you guys HERE since I'll be updating the Freedom thread with a new kernel with some more features.

Also all of the recoveries that wipe data with the button combo on LG phones can be booted into with an app like QuickBoot and data doesn't get wiped this way as long as your using PlayfulGod's data wipe fix. Have you tried using QuickBoot?

Ding ding, gpl and apache. i removed all of your bits and pieces even the systemui and settings changes. so your branding doesnt keep me from redistributing your rom. Oh, and by that logic we shouldnt be redistributing lg's kdz files either.

i didnt know playfulgod had a fix. what i did was use the fstab to loop mount a userdata.img from the external sdcard to /data.
And it works in cwm and ive modified the kernel to support it.

Will test tonight or tomorrow morning.

Thanks <3
Before you test!
Let me remove a line from the internal recovery or it will wipe /data no matter what you use to boot into it.
Oh, and make a backup with online nandroid backup app to the external sdcard before you test cwm. Cause you want to be able to restore if something happens.

EDIT: Here is the cwm specifically made for you to test quickboot. If /data doesnt mount in recovery then GT's quickboot idea doesnt work. https://mega.co.nz/#!0ZgBGJxZ!kCf-xX0jHunqZGSF2dDe1drTtCqIk89zZjVunT_ol2E

I just checked the link on 2 different PCs and it's downloading just fine. Google drive is very reliable. I have all the roms I've made for other phones on Gdrive and noone else is having an issue.

Hi folks after digging around, I discovered a Korean github developer made the kernel source of cm11 for lte2. As we got the lte2 2nd init working, I believe this can be used in our device. It is possible to build kk and beyond. :D We need persistence!!
Ps: This might sounds wired as most ppl put away this device but I use this opportunity to learn rom developing
