Help Notifications volume

Hi. I'm new to forums but here is my problem.
My Z2 has a very low volume for notifications including Gmail and texts.
I have adjusted the notifications volume full.
When I select a tone the sound is high but under normal use the sound is very low.
Any ideas??

mines the exact same way..i spent about 30 mins trying to figure out if i can make it louder but like u when i pick it its loud but when the actual notification comes in the volume is lower..so prob software issue

i got zedge and use a louder notification tone and ive been happy
