i am using the facebook pop as the default notification tone - it played the sound wen i plugged it in.
Where is the sound located? on the SD? or internal?

My suggestion is to not use Titanium backup
I know it sucks to have to redownload your apps, but with the amount of diversity between ROMs ever increasing, it has become very hard for TiBu to backup one ROM and correctly restore it to a different one.
One thing you can try before attempting a clean restore is using the 'fix permissions' feature of ROM manager. That may help mitigate the FC's.
You can just edit /system/builld.prop and find ringer_delay = 3000 and change it to =1 (3000ms = 3s, 1ms = no delay, basically)
How would one do this exactly? What program changes build.prop?
Which ROM do you have? If you have this ROM, it's already set to 1ms delay.
Otherwise, you can either pull the file onto your computer and edit with wordpad, or, I think if you have root explorer, you can edit it right from your phone.
not really sure . it came with this ROM . dont really understand all this ROM info just yet. got my droid 2 days ago.
im guessing its internal but since the SD card sound fixed the problem, the ROM might have installed it on the SD card
edit: yes, the sound IS on the SD card, just found it. but i did not put it there lol . the person who had the phone b4 me might have

I lost the NexTheme wallpaper, and any others that you might have included, because of Titanium Update. Can you post the wallpaper(s)

^^^ This
Just used Root Explorer to change it by holding it and selecting text editor.

Love this rom.
This is my first time using rom manager though. I have nexbeast installed and running stock speed but want to try the 1ghz kernel as that's what I was oc'ed on droidmod. I downloaded the kernel. Do I just install rom from sd card or do I flash alternate recovery?
Also if I just install the rom. Since im already on the stock kernel, Do I have to wipe again?
I think the Facebook app install this to the sdcard.
Regardless, I'm glad we figured this out.
An update on video MMS: it doesn't work. I tried like every MMS version out there, including the 'fixed' one by Pete, which I am almost certain is the same one I included by default.
So...sorry. No video MMS at the moment![]()

..Now when i installed the BB V1.0, i know the Bekit kernel was already on there. I did wipe before i installed it along with this theme. I installed the Bekit 1GHz on it. The coolest my phone has run was 91 degrees. I tested something out, so i put P3Droid 1GHz kernel on it like i had it before and my temperatures dropped to about 80-83 sometimes cooler after idle.
Now im getting all of my information from SetCPU in regards to the temp reading. I also have profiles set up as well. Could any of these things be the reason why my phone runs that warm with Bekit? Would uninstalling SetCPU and allowing my phone to change on its own be the better way to go about it?

Right now for me, on idle, this thing is ice cold in the 60's.. moderate to heavy usage brings to me anywhere from 100-105.. but I haven't seen it go beyond 105 yet.
So far, I really like this ROM. I'm liking the new fonts (thanks Fab) and the speed increase. I had a couple of reboots and f/c with HL2 when running some of the scripts to remove some apps but it hasn't happened again.
Not sure if I'm gonna get rid of my Task killer and Set CPU yet. I'm gonna test it out. So far, the available RAM hasn't gone down past 60mb. If it continues, then I might get rid of my task manager. As for Set CPU, at one point my CPU went down to 384mhz. Not sure why that happened but I'm gonna keep my set cpu widget around just in case. Besides, I paid for that app so why get rid of it. haha
Great work again on customizing this bad ass ROM, Fab.
