Cancel or let the service run out?

Last week I signed up with Tmobile and got a Note 4. I am paid up til the 15th with Metro and after that plan on selling my Galaxy S3. Do I need to cancel with Metro first before selling the phone or just keep it on until the service runs out on the 15th?

Are you going to (or did you) port your number to T-Mobile? Porting will automatically cancel service.

I'd cancel service before selling.

Curious...why go with TMo to pay more for same service? For the Note IV? Thanks.

I went with Tmobile because I couldn't afford to pay full price for the Note 4, also got my hubby the Note 3. I was also starting to have reception issues with Metro since we moved a few months ago...so far the service has been good with Tmobile.

I'm guessing you had a CDMA S3 because both companies use the same network for GSM phones.
