New Verizon Policy FYI (Never pay retail again)

"we will replace it with a like or comparable unit"

That line always worries me....they are always in control of what a "comparable unit" is.

Insurance is worded the same way. You always get what you had before. The website shows every phone except the INC, which wont be up there until there are a lot of used devices. Just a nice option if you dont have insurance.

You guy's are mistaking Certified Pre-Owned devices with Certified Like-New replacements. C.P.O. just went into effect April 1st of this year. Certified Like-New replacements are under the 1 year manufacturer warranty that is in VZW's policy. After 30 days of the original date of purchasing the phone, manufacturers require us to replace the device with Certified Like-New replacements if there is manufacturer defect within the 1yr warranty.

As it states, C.P.O is for people who chose not to buy insurance when they purchased their phone and either lost their phone, broke it physically, liquid damage, etc; And no the Incredible is not on that list of devices you can choose from lol. If you ever fall into this situation, there is always an updated list of what devices are available to purchase with the prices next to them. These devices include the phone, battery, home charger, manuals, and is also backed with a 1yr manufacturer defect warranty.
