Haha TS exactly how I felt while holding the HD2. I was at my mom's hair salon getting a haircut(I'm a dude and she cuts my hair for free lol) and this girl there had the HD2. I wanted to ask her so badly to play with it but I didn't want to be rude. That phone gets me so hyped up over the EVO. This display is just simply amazing.

LOL...Don't worry, you're not in that boat alone. When I first started to learn about Android (after learning of the EVO), I asked what Froyo was and got some REAL technical answers as if I was already familiar with Android. That's when I read a post on these forums that clarified Google's approach for naming their updates after desserts.

Oh boy. TS is barely out the door and we're at it again...:rolleyes:

I have not switched my podcast listening to my Hero but I will for the EVO. Is there a "best" all-in-one media player that everyone recommends for audio podcasts as well as movies?

Okay...on a lighter note...I still haven't had anyone step forward and tell me how to get a nice android guy with his tongue hanging out...and onto my profile. Okay...on to an even lighter note....I think Sprint obviously gave this phone it's name for a reason...part of which would definitely have to be marketing....correct? So...I'm thinking...it's really short for Evolution and this is the way they will go with their media blitz. DUH...I know...not exactly a revelation...but I'm just saying...this looks to be the way they are going. Reminds me of how the Mitsubishi Lancer EVO is named....and that's one fast car! :) So...onto the lightest note yet....my vision of an ad would involve the letters flickering in and out...kind of like when an analog tv station...flickers in a horror flick...like i....I think it was named "The Ring"....anyway...my vision is for it to flicker in a more modern way...with a high current electrical sounds..buzz buzz....the letters EVO 4G....change to EVOLUTION...then EVOLVE.....then the VE drops....then it reverses to love...then back to EVOLUTION....and final....hard bass sound...EVO 4G! Cut....that's a rap! Badumpum pssh!

For some reason I was just thinking about using the touchscreen, and realized that something that gets on my nerves might actually be a good thing now. My job requires me to handle steel, auto-locking carabiners hundreds of times a day, which dries the hell out of my hands. Maybe my future Evo's screen won't be as smudged due to this?

Haha yeah right after the part about HDMI out...they are clearly talking into their HDMI cables and wondering why their conversation isn't in HD!
