Help How to use custom sound alert for Facebook

How do I set custom tone for Facebook alerts ?

Go into Settings in the Facebook app itself and set the desired sound there.

Done. It will be nice if all settings is accessible from one place. I guess thats upto the devs, how ready they are to tweak Linux further.

This is not possible, or at least would be *very* difficult to implement.

Do you mean iOS style? Funnily enough that's one of the things I hate most about that OS: if I want to change an app's preferences I have to leave that app and go to a separate "settings" app then find my app's settings in there. A really long-winded way of doing things (and inconsistent with all desktop OSes, including OSX).

I have no idea how iOS work. I have only used JAVA based phones before and on my desktop I use Debian stable. I am quite satisfied how Android works atm. By one place I meant something similar to openSUSE's Yast.
